YourKitchen with Trudi: Ornament Popcorn Balls

Ingredients:

10 Cups popped popcorn
1 Pack (280g) large marshmallows
¼ Cup butter, cubed
¼ Teaspoon salt
Optional: Candy Canes, black pearl sprinkles, orange licorice pastels and smarties

Directions:

Place popcorn in a large bowl.

In a large saucepan, combine marshmallows, butter and salt. Stir over medium-low heat until melted.

Pour over popcorn: mix well and allow to slightly cool.

With greased hands, shape mixture into 12 popcorn balls, each about ¾ cup in size (this might be a job for parents as mixture may be hot).

Placed on waxed paper and decorate as desired.

Allow to stand until cooled.
