Ingredients:
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 3 x garlic cloves
- 1 x brown onion
- 810gm crushed tin tomatoes
- ¼ cup fresh basil
- 500gm fettuccine
Directions:
- Heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add onion and cook until softened.
- Add tinned tomatoes and ½ cup water.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cook pasta according to directions.
- Combine pasta with sauce and toss through basil.
- Serve with parmesan, if preferred.
